Jessica Simpson recently tweeted a pic of herself with oh-so-luscious lips, but lest you think she hopped on the Collagen Express, the explanation is actually quite sensible.
She's preggers!
So what did she say about her plump-tastic pucker?
"Woke up looking like the lip injection fairy visited me in the night! Is this how pregnancy face begins?! Yikes!" she tweeted last Sunday.
This will be the first child for Simpson and her beau, erstwhile NFL pro Eric Johnson.
The multihyphenate celeb, who'll next be seen as a mentor on NBC's Fashion Star this March (E! and NBC are part of the NBCUniversal family), is clearly feeling the mommy thing. Aside from a hilarious Halloween photo she tweeted last year of her dressed as a pun-perfect mummy, she's set to unveil a maternity line as early as next month.
At the recent Television Critics Association Press Tour, Simpson chatted with E! News about her latest fashion venture, explaining that as an expectant mom "it's really challenging to find adorable stuff. And fashionable stuff and stuff that doesn't make you look like a house."
She added, "You want stuff that's flattering to your bump; you want to show your bump off. We're going to come out with some really great stuff. Lots of cute denim for all the ladies out there who are afraid to get dressed up pregnant."
No word yet on whether she'll be selling mummy-mommy Halloween costumes…
