Just sat down with Daniel Radcliffe and the homies from Hogwarts in London, and I don't think there are three more genuine, unaffected and just straight-up cool actors on the planet than Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and the aforementioned Harry Potter.
Daniel gave me his theory on how he thinks the Potter franchise should end: He thinks Harry needs to die! Unbelievable, but it makes sense. He said he doesn't want author J.K. Rowling to have to deal with people pressuring her to continue the franchise.
The other amazing thing I learned is that all three of them have not read the seventh book yet, which will be released roughly a week after the film (July 13 in the states). One would think that they would receive advance copies or something but quite the contrary. They read them when everyone else does. Pretty cool.
Rupert wants to do comedy next and maybe some day work with Adam Sandler, while Emma absolutely adores Julia Roberts. All in all, it was a good time, and you guys can check out the interviews in their entirety when I return stateside....
