The former talk-show queen turned OWN mogul is parting with the posh Manhattan penthouse apartment she purchased in 2008 for $7.1 million.
So what's her asking price?
Not as much as you'd think. Per Zillow, Winfrey's selling it for $7.9 million.
That's not necessarily a huge profit for someone of Oprah's stature (though us regular folk will take it), but the real estate market is in the midst of a downturn after all.
According to the site, the three-bedroom, three and a half bath spread is the crown jewel of the posh Midtown tower Place 57. Located on the 36th floor, it features 2,530 square feet of wall-to-ceiling windowed space including a 768-square-foot terrace, a triangle-shaped living room and sleek modern kitchen and dining area. The master bedroom has not one but three—count 'em, three—walk-in closets while the bathroom sports a jetted tub.
It's everything an aging diva could want and more! So get it fast, or it's gone.
