Paula Abdul and Her Boyfriend Call It Quits

X Factor judge splits with record label owner Jeff Bratton after just a year and a half

Paula Abdul is back on the market.

The 49-year-old X Factor judge and her record label beau, Jeff Bratton, have split, according to People.

"Paula and I split in November," Bratton told the mag. "It was an amicable thing. But between the final months of X Factor and my responsibilities with [my label] Cascine, there was little time for us."

"We're still close," Bratton continued. "And I'll always be grateful for the time we shared as a couple."

The ex-couple met in 2010 and had a long-distance love affair, going back and forth between Abdul's Los Angeles home and Bratton's New York residence.
