Pat Sajak Admits Getting Drunk on Wheel of Fortune

Looks like contestants aren't the only ones having a good time on Wheel of Fortune!
Host Pat Sajak appeared on Dan Le Batard Is Highly Questionable yesterday and admitted that he's gotten wasted while hosting the popular game show.
The catch: He wasn't alone.
So who'd join him on his tipple-tastic jaunts?

Vanna White! Sajak explained that during the show's early days, dinner breaks stretched for over two hours, and so the two would hit up a restaurant across the street to pound back some margaritas.
"We had a different show then," Sajak said. "We had endless time between shows. Our dinner breaks would be two-and-a-half hours long while they drove in new cars and boats and gazebos and stuff...So Vanna and I would go across and have two or three or six [margaritas], and then come and do the last shows, and have trouble recognizing the alphabet."

Focus, Pat, focus! Those contestants need to buy the right vowels!
"I had a great time," he added. "I had no idea if the shows were any good. No one said anything, so I guess I did OK."
But times are different for the host: "Now, if I were to inhale the cork and a bottle of wine, I would probably keel over. I'm getting a little older for this. So we don't do that. I would be hesitant to have anything to drink now."
Good call, Pat. Only the wheel should be spinning during the show, not your head!
