Nina Dobrev tweeted today that she suffered a concussion on the set of The Vampire Diaries, saying, "Still feelin side effects from the Concussion I got on set... Ouchie. Good thing purple is a good color on me otherwise..."

According to a source, "Nina is fine." Phew! I'm told she "had a bump on the head" and went to a facility to get it checked. She didn't miss any work and went directly back to work.
Gotta love the dedication. And here's hoping Nina truly is A-OK.
Of course, now as a fan of the show, one has to wonder, was this an off-screen accident or did it go down while someone was trying to lay their greasy little paws on our girl Elena for an upcoming episode? 'Cause if it's Klaus or Katherine (Kevin Williamson told us she'll be back), that is so not bueno. But if it's Stefan or Damon, well, maybe not such a bad thing...
The next episode of The Vampire Diaries airs Thursday on The CW.
