In the end, it wasn't Frodo who scored the ring.
Yes, the Fellowship was back in force as Billy Boyd, who played Pippin in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, tied the knot today with longtime partner Ali McKinnon in an intimate wedding attended by fellow Hobbit pals Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan.
Fortunately there was no Gollum in sight.

The pair got hitched in the Shire Boyd's hometown of Glasgow, Scotland. The groom eschewed the pointy ears and furry feet for a handsome three-piece suit, while the bride stunned the 130 guests in an ivory dress.
Boyd met McKinnon, a ballet dancer and yoga teacher, back in 2002 when the couple worked on a pantomine together. They have a 4-year-old son named Jack.
While Boyd won't be among the LOTR stars returning for The Hobbit, the 42-year-old actor will be reuniting soon with another former halfling, Sean "Samwise Gamgree" Astin, in The Witches of Oz, about an all-grown-up Dorothy who's become a children's author.
