Old Spice Funnyguy Was on Horse, Soon on Peacock
Old Spice spokesman Isaiah Mustafa may just be the person NBC needs to make its programming dreams come true.
The sexy pitchman has signed a talent deal with the Peacock network, which intends to have the man your man could smell like audition for both current and new shows, namely sitcoms.
"I grew up in that Cosby Show, Family Ties era, and kept that going even through college with Seinfeld and Friends," he tells Variety regarding NBC. "To me, they controlled comedy and dictated my life on Thursday nights. And I think that's my strength, doing comedy."
Meanwhile, Mustafa just shot another Old Spice commercial. As for his deal with the network, we'll be sure to let you know more once we sniff out any new info.
