Nicole Richie Planning December Wedding

The wedding bells are getting louder for Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.
However, just because Ms. Richie had her bachelorette party last weekend in Mexico, that doesn't mean the big day is right around the corner…
A source tells us that Richie and Madden are planning to tie the knot in December but because of scheduling, she decided to throw the bachelorette party, attended by the likes of Christina Aguilera and Samantha Ronson, closer to her birthday. Nicole turned 29 on Tuesday.
The mommy of two hasn't picked out a wedding dress yet and is said to still be looking over a gazillion choices with her stylist Simone Harouche.
As for the wedding location? That's also still in the works, but our source says she is considering keeping it close to home at dad Lionel Richie's L.A.-area estate.
Nicole's rep declined to comment.
