Everybody does it.

But when a fab fashionista like Nicole Richie does it, you have to wonder whether a new trend is afoot.

What are we talking about? Nicole's been wearing what appears to be the very same gray shirt over the course of several days this week. One day she puts it over a white tee, another day under a black jacket and, our favorite, she pairs it with a vibrant red scarf. 

Think we're mocking her? We're not, because when we wear the same shirt on successive days it's because we skipped doing the laundry. But the busy mom looks pretty great regardless of what she pairs with her versatile top.

Plus, she's saving water and recycling, too! What's not to love?
