The Australian beauty can definitely pull off the bleached-blond bombshell look, but in this case, it was done for her role in The Paperboy, a thriller about a reporter who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death-row inmate.
Kidman plays Charlotte Bless, a woman with a dark side who writes letters to men on death row. (Fun fact: Kidman replaced Sofia Vergara in this role because of Modern Family conflicts.)
Paperboy also stars Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron and John Cusack.
