New parents Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are back on the party scene in a big way. On Saturday, their first stop was LACMA's opening of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum. They arrived hand in hand around 8 p.m. for dinner and to watch Nic's dad, Lionel Richie, perform.

Then they headed over to Clive Davis' pre-Grammy bash at the Beverly Hilton, where they hung with Whitney Houston. One party not on their schedule that night? Supposed BFF Paris Hilton's birthday bash at Area.
On Sunday night, the twosome were out again, making stops at both Sony/BMG's bash at the Beverly Hills Hotel (Joel's band Good Charlotte is on the label) and Entertainment Weekly's toast to Antonio "L.A." Reid at STK. On both nights, new mama Nic wore a necklace with a gold H, presumably for the couple's daughter, Harlow Winter.
