Nick Nolte Does Daddyhood
There's a new lady in Nick Nolte's life.
The two-time Oscar nominee and his longtime partner, Clytie Lane, welcomed a baby girl on Oct. 3 in Los Angeles, spokesman Paul Bloch said Tuesday.
The infant, who has not yet been given a name, weighed in at a healthy seven pounds, 13 ounces.
"Both mother and daughter are doing well," the rep said.
It's the second child for Nolte, who has a 21-year-old son, Brawley Nolte, from a previous relationship. It's the first child for Lane.
Nolte, 66, next appears in the fantasy adventure film The Spiderwick Chronicles, as the voice of Mulgarath, an evil ogre. The movie is due in theaters in February.
He is currently working on the ensemble comedy Tropic of Thunder, also starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., Bill Hader, Steve Coogan and Matthew McConaughey.
