The America's Got Talent host, hospitalized earlier this week with kidney failure, underwent an apparently not-too-invasive procedure today and was doing well enough afterword to update fans on his condition himself.

"Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. ," tweeted Cannon, who, as Mariah Carey's latest twitpic shows, is keeping his IV close but his gadgets closer.
