New Three Musketeers Trailer Loaded With Orlando Bloom and...Flying Boats?

Big-screen adaptation of the literary classic seems to add some Hollywood action to the mix

Remember how captivated you were when you first read Alexandre Dumas' classic The Three Musketeers? The sword fights, the 17th-century trash talking and, of course, flying balloon ships waging epic canon battles in the skies over Paris...

Yeah, we have to admit we didn't remember that part either. But it seems in an effort to inject some action into a new big-screen version of the film (sword fights aren't enough?), Hollywood has decided that's exactly what the story needed. At least we get to see a bit more of Orlando Bloom this time around...

The British actor stars as the villainous Duke of Buckingham, a warmonger obsessed with instruments of battle, and with the help of Cardinal Richelieu (Christoph Waltz) and M'lady De Winter (Milla Jovovich, showing off those slick Resident Evil skills as a deadly assassin), the continent of Europe is poised to be flung into chaos.

That is, of course, if the three musketeers and their new sidekick, D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman) can't thwart their plans. Whether it's taking on 40 men (on an off day; they can handle 400), flamethrowers or daring duels atop Notre Dame Cathedral, these four are up to the task.

What do you think? Ready to check out this action even if it takes some Hollywood liberties?
