New Mom Christina Applegate's Next Gig Just Might Be The Office
When Hall Pass costars Christina Applegate and Jenna Fischer sat down to talk to E! News about their new movie, the conversation quickly turned to Jenna's gig on The Office. The two girlfriends began to cook up ways for Applegate to join the Dunder Mifflin party with Fischer and mutual friend/new Office hire Will Ferrell—once Applegate is ready to go back to work after the birth of her daughter.
So what did they say?
"Will's coming. He started this week," Fischer declares.
"I'm so jealous," says Applegate, who costarred with Ferrell in Anchorman.
"Maybe you should come on," says Fischer.
"Maybe I should," says Applegate. "Let's do it."
Asked if she's gotten to work with Ferrell yet, Fischer explains she hasn't because she's been doing publicity for Hall Pass.
"Not yet...because I'm here. So Will started today. And I'm here. We're like star-crossed lovers right now."
Fischer then suggests Applegate could play a marketing executive, to which Applegate replies, "F--k yeah!"
Sounds like a plan to us!
