New Chuck Norris Fact: He's a Real Texas Ranger

If everything they say about Chuck Norris on the Chuck Norris Facts website is true—like "Chuck Norris can roundhouse kick the same lightning twice" or "Chuck Norris once punched a man in his soul"—then we totally agree with the honor that was bestowed upon him today.

The 70-year-old martial arts star, who lent his badass self to the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger for nine prime-time seasons, has officially become an honorary Texas Ranger over in the Lone Star State.
The designation was presented to Norris by Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who also gave the same honor to Norris' stunt coordinator brother Aaron during Thursday's ceremony.
Not that Norris, who "once played Russian roulette with a fully loaded gun and won," would really need his sibling's help if ever actually called upon to put his new title to use, but it's a nice gesture nonetheless.
