New Book Claims Warren Beatty Bedded Thousands

Whatever Tiger Woods may have been up to, he's got nothing on this.
According to calculations alleged within author Peter Biskind's new biography about Warren Beatty, the Shampoo star is claimed to have bedded somewhere in the vicinity of 12,775 women.
For those of you keeping score at home, this figure does not include "daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on." (Nor does it come close to Wilt Chamberlain's legendary stats.)
We've always understood it was bad form to kiss and tell, but no one ever warned us of counting and telling, perhaps because it seems so ridiculous.
And to be fair, Beatty's lawyer, Bertram Fields, issued a stinging rebuke about Star: How Warren Beatty Seduced America that says in part: "Mr. Biskind's tedious and boring book…contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said."
Fair enough; the whole idea, not to mention the number, seems a little ludicrous. Although for a supposedly boring book, it's certainly got our attention. How about you?
