Nancy Grace Doubles Her Pleasure
Nancy Grace sure knows how to bury—and keep buried—the lede.
The CNN pundit has confirmed that she was not only secretly married back in April, but that she is currently expecting twins with her investment banker hubby.
"I am thrilled to confirm today's reports on my marriage and impending motherhood," Grace said.
The 47-year-old first spilled the news on her newlywed and mama-to-be status to the New York Post Tuesday, telling the paper that she tied the knot with David Linch, the financier, not the homonymous avant garde director, in an intimate ceremony at a Methodist church in Macon, Georgia, in front of a small group of friends and family.
The duo first met back in the late 1970s, when they both attended Mercer College.
"We've been in touch all these years and a lot of time we were separated by geography and time," she told the Post. "It was a spur-of-the-moment decision to get married. I told my family only two days before [the wedding]."
Grace said that during the surprise nuptials she walked down the aisle to her favorite song, "Moon River," and that both she and Linch wrote their own vows.
As for the talking head's double whammy of a familial package, Grace, who is due in January and who also refused to disclose whether she had used fertility treatments in her pregnancy bid, called both her current states a "blessing."
"I thought 'mother' and 'wife' was just not part of God's plan for me," she said. "I just can't believe that, at my age, I would find such happiness."
The anchor is expected to officially reveal her good news on tonight's edition of her eponymous show.
