"Mummy" Star a Daddy Again
George has added another little monkey to his jungle.
Brendan Fraser and wife Afton Smith welcomed their third child Tuesday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Us Weekly reports.
No further details were announced about the newborn and there was no official comment from the actor's publicist.
The couple married in 1998 and have two sons, three-year-old Griffin and two-year-old Holden.
Smith, now a full-time mom, had been an actress, appearing in Less Than Zero, Fried Green Tomatoes, Reality Bites and George of the Jungle, where she met her hubby.
Not counting the umpteen cable showings of Encino Man, Fraser, 37, was last seen in the Oscar-winning Crash as a Los Angeles district attorney, whose wife, played by Sandra Bullock, is in dire need of some happy pills.
His latest film, Journey to the End of the Night, premiered Friday at the Tribeca Film Festival. The drama, costarring Mos Def, Scott Glenn and Catalina Sandino Moreno, is set in Brazil and tells the sordid tale of a father and son swept up into São Paolo's underworld of sex, drugs and corruption.
Also in the works for Fraser is the indie crime drama The Air I Breathe, alongside Kevin Bacon, Andy Garcia, Forest Whitaker and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Two weeks ago he signed on to play a geologist in Journey 3-D, an update of Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth. The film will feature a combination of live action and high-def 3-D graphics for the landscape and otherworldly creatures.
