Shrek 2

This sequel is not ogre-done. With further twisted takes on classic fairy tales, more spoofs on pop culture (including some jabs at Disney) and abundant dancing and farting--not to mention Antonio Banderas' perfect Puss in Boots--the second chapter in the green guy's story continues the good times. When a suspect Fairy Godmother plots to separate Shrek (Mike Myers) from his Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), the chatterbox Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and crew must save the day. Clever gags and slight wordplay keep things moving fast (and even get a tad racy at times). One complaint? The topical humor might not hold up over the years. But whatever--it's more than enough to enjoy over the next few weeks as your kids take you back for repeated viewings.
