Jean-Claude does little Van Dammage to his lukewarm reputation with this standard actioner, which finds our man in the middle of plot involving a dead twin brother, the Russian mafia, crooked FBI agents and Species' Natasha Henstridge as the world's most voluptuous cocktail waitress. While the pedestrian story and action are both serviceable, there are unintentionally laugh-out-loud scenes, such as a bathhouse brawl between an oil-slicked, towel-clad Van Damme and an Ivan Drago-looking Russkie. This may be worth the risk for JCVD fans, but others should make it a Blockbuster night.
