Cannibalism is always good for laugh, just ask satisfied customers of movies like
Delicatessen,
Parents or
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This gruesome Scandinavian human-sausage comedy is set to join their ranks. When two losers (Mads Mikkelsen and Nikolaj Lie Kaas) decide to open a butcher shop, they stumble upon success after the accidental murder and consumption of their cruel former boss.
Soon, they can't make meat delicacies from that mean dead guy fast enough and have to figure out a way to keep up the demand. Great hapless performances by the leads keep things running even when the script decides to turn sentimental, threatening to make mincemeat out of the nasty fun. And if it's not as great as its predecessors, it's still more fun than
any movie about veganism.
