Drop everything and check out this "based on a true story" flick about older ladies willing to strip for a good cause. Okay, it's not as salacious as you might think, but when the gals from a small English-countryside town find themselves in need of a fundraising plan, they come up a doozy. Led by gutsy duo Julie Walters and Helen Mirren, the women pose for their annual calendar, doing stuff like flower arranging, painting and pressing fruit--in the nude. Surprising international acclaim follows. Packed with the lighthearted underdog charm of The Full Monty (as well as director Nigel Cole's own Saving Grace), the movie also sticks around to see what happens after the triumph. It's an empowering story that you should mark your you-know-what for.
