Barbershop 2: Back in Business

Barbershop knows what all of the buzz is about. That's why this sharp sequel focuses on the controversial trash talk of Cedric the Entertainer and company for most of its laughs. Yeah, there's a plot about a new highfalutin hair place threatening the future of Ice Cube's hometown chop shop. But that's just window dressing. This feel-good flick is all about the lively dissing on and off the chair, introducing Queen Latifah's beauty parlor for a spinoff and getting a kick out of the retro exploits of Cedric's character--all which add up to a good time. This one's a winner by more than a hair.
