School's out--and so are they! The summer after their senior year, four horndogs in want of a good boning make a pact to get laid by Labor Day. Round up the usual virgins--there's the jock (Jonathan Chase), the nerd (Mitch Morris), the innocent (Michael Carbonaro) and the alternative kid (Jonah Blechman). The refreshing twist here is the guys are all gay, and their sexuality is a nonissue with parents and friends.
But that's where the originality ends. Writer-director Todd Stephens shoots for a queerified
American Pie (quiche subs for apple pie) and fills his "butt love" comedy with loads of raunchy gags about enemas, glory holes, dildos, penis pumps, etc. It's all pretty unimaginative stuff. And please, can we have a moratorium on
Mommie Dearest references, gerbil jokes and Asian stereotypes? Yeah, the boys are cute and they show lots of skin, but this limp flick is sooo tired. No finger snaps.
