Analyze That

D
After a session with this sorry sequel, you may need grief counseling. Reprising their roles as a neurotic mob boss and his worrywart shrink, Robert De Niro and Billy Crystal meet up again when De Niro gets out of jail and requires constant psychiatric supervision. De Niro tries to get "normal" jobs, as a used-car salesman, a waiter and a mob-show TV consultant. That's when flat jokes and gags start ganging up--and then sink quicker than a stool pigeon in concrete shoes. De Niro and Crystal simply go through the motions and don't add much to help this mess. Our professional opinion? Spend some time on the couch with The Sopranos.
