Miranda Kerr began modeling in Australia when she was 13 years old. A decade later, the brunette beauty hit the big time when she got a contact as a Victoria's Secret Angel.
In fact, she was the first Aussie to land the highly coveted gig and nabbed the wings after supermodel Gisele Bündchen left the lingerie brand.
In 2008, Kerr was spotted out with Orland Bloom and although the gorgeous duo kept their romance under wraps the model told People, "He's a sweetheart and that's all I'm gonna say."
Two years after they started dating the pair announced their engagement in June 2010, tying the knot later that same month. One month later, Miranda revealed that she was four months pregnant with their first child!
"For me, family is life," she explained to W magazine of their wedding. "The decision to start one wasn't complex at all."
Kerr and Bloom welcomed son Flynn Christopher Blanchard Copeland on Jan. 6 2011. The star shared a picture of herself nursing the newborn on her Kora Organics website, a skincare brand she launched in 2009.
"I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication and it was a long, arduous and difficult labor, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it. I could not have done it without him," she wrote. "We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family. He is our little ray of sunshine."
Only two months later, the model returned to the runway and just seven months after giving birth she was back modeling swimsuits.
Although she admitted to being nervous about her first bathing suit fashion show, she told the Herald Sun her secret was "squats and I started Pilates as well as my usual yoga routine."
Soon the new mom and her little dude are inseparable and when she's not getting photographed on the catwalk, paparazzi are constantly snapping the famous family.
But being in the limelight has its disadvantages; the couple became victims of the so-called Bling Ring gang—teenagers who went on a burglary spree, robbing celebrity homes.
"It could have been worse, that's what I always say about everything. I mean, no one was hurt," she said in Net-a-Porter's The Edit.
Two year after wearing Victoria Secret's $2.5 million bra, Kerr announces she will be parting ways with the brand—citing her 30th birthday and motherhood as a the main reasons.
"I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and after I became a mother I realized I needed to prioritize my time."
