Miley Won't Make Diddy's Day26

Miley Cyrus, Hannah Montana Disney Enterprises, Inc.

Sean "Diddy" Combs can make the band, but he can't make them bigger than Miley Cyrus.

The Hannah Montana soundtrack racked up chart-topping sales of 133,000, while the sophomore release from Making the Band 4 stars Day26, Forever in a Day, opened at No. 2 with 113,000. Day26's eponymous debut topped the charts last year.

Sales took a nosedive this week (down nearly 19 percent from last week and 15 percent compared to same week last year), with only one other notable bow: the Silversun Picksups sold a career-high 43,000 copies of Swoon to park in the No. 7 spot. There wasn't another new album in the Top 100.

Here's a recap of the Top 10 albums for the week ended Sunday, per Nielsen SoundScan:

  1. Hannah Montana: The Movie soundtrack, various
  2. Forever in a Day, Day26
  3. Unstoppable, Rascal Flatts
