Miley Cyrus' Sexy Miami Pool Pics With Mystery Guy—It's Not What You Think!

Recently engaged star is hanging out with pal Cheyne Thomas—and "there's no story," her rep confirms

Attention, haters: Miley Cyrus is happily engaged to Liam Hemsworth.

That's the message both the pop star and mom Tish Cyrus sent today after the Internet started buzzing in response to photos that showed up of a bikini-wearing Miley enjoying some seemingly sexy pool time at the Delano in Miami yesterday with a bearded stranger.

Well, with a guy who wasn't Liam, anyway.

The fellow in the pool is Cheyne Thomas, a good friend and part-time assistant of Miley's, the teen's rep confirmed to E! News, adding, "There's no story there."

But enough tales were told today to merit a response from Miley and her mom.

"So now because I am engaged I can't have a friend of the opposite sex?" Miley just tweeted. "Can't have a friend help me out while I'm working alllll day? #dumb."

"So sad that the nasty tabloids have to make up stories to sell their trashy mags," Tish had tweeted earlier. "Cant they just leave these 2 alone and let them be happy?"

Miley replied, "@tishcyrus I love my fiancé & he loves me. All the rest is bull s--t. We get to live a life of happiness no one can take that away from us!"

About an hour later, the 19-year-old added, "I miss my mommy & my fiancé #homesick."

She's currently in Miami working on her new album, while Hemsworth, 22, is in New Orleans playing a cop in Empire State.
