Miley Cyrus Goes "Overboard" With Justin Bieber for Bieber Bio

And Katy Perry thought she was the one with the teenage dream.

A bunch of major pop-R&B stars—ranging from his mentors, Usher and Ludacris, to Motown Philly's finest, Boyz II Men—joined an all-better Justin Bieber in concert tonight at Madison Square Garden, where cameras were capturing the action for Bieber's 3-D biopic, due in theaters next year.

But it was Miley Cyrus who really got the party in the NYC rolling and, quite possibly, helped ensure that Bieber's theatrical debut will fare better than the Jonas Brothers' noble third-dimensional experiment last year.

"Tonight Was #HISTORY !!!!!! MSG IN NYC SOLD OUT ME USHER, LUDACRIS MILEY CYRUS AND LAST BUT NEVER LEAST BOYZ II MEN!!!!! I Had A Great Time," tweeted fellow guest star Sean Kingston.

But about that Miley...

The 17-year-old (huh, we were sure she was at least 22 by now) joined Bieber on his My World 2.0 tune "Overboard."

Witnesses tell E! News that the crowd went beyond wild whenever Justin and Miley made any physical contact whatsoever, however innocent.

Bieber had sweetly tweeted earlier: "Its all really coming 2gether. Tonight I perform with my heroes! MSG its almost time!"

Davis Guggenheim was originally attached to direct, but Step Up 3-D helmer Jon Chu has since taken over Bieber's pic. Which sounds like a better fit, in our humble opinion.
