Michael Jackson enjoyed playing…pool?

Apparently so.

"I know people who produced for him, and they would tell me stories about him. They'd say he was just one of those people who appreciated simple things," Chamillionaire told us yesterday at the BET Awards. "They actually went to play pool with him, and they said he didn't want to leave. I was like, 'Wow, I can't picture Michael Jackson playing pool.' "

For DJ Paul of the Academy Award-winning Three 6 Mafia, the King of Pop was also the King of Dance. "It's all about the dancing," he told us. "He had dance moves that people still use today."

Juicy J added, "It seemed like Michael Jackson was going to live forever…He affected everybody."

R&B singer Teairra Mari lives across the street from the Holmby Hills rental home where Jackson suffered his fatal cardiac arrest.

"I'd be there like, 'Oh, I can see the top of his head! He's leaving the house,' " Mari remembered. "I'd call everybody downstairs, and we'd be screaming. We'd just watch in awe…He was pretty low-key. Lived like a star: very hidden and rarely around."

Sean "Diddy" Combs paid homage to Jackson on Saturday night during his Cîroc vodka party for the awards and his upcoming album, Last Train to Paris, at Hollywood's MyHouse.

He took to the mic at about 1 a.m. to introduce a mix of Jackson hits like "Thriller" and "Beat It." "I f--king lost it when I saw Michael Jackson do the moonwalk," he said. "I will always love Michael Jackson. I don't give a f--k what people say."

Robin Thicke marked Jackson's untimely death by performing "Human Nature" at the SoBe Lifewater Summer Fridays kickoff event at the Stephen Weiss Studios in New York City.
