Michael Bay Takedown, the Sequel! Chris O'Dowd Defends Megan Fox's Diss With His Own Cuss-Filled Rant

Actor backs up his Friends With Kids costar, who got fired from Transformers after comparing the director to Hitler: "Who wouldn't have a fallout with him?"

If you'll recall, the actress was famously fired from the third Transformers movie after she compared director Michael Bay to Hitler, leading him to replace her with Eye Candy 2.0 Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

O'Dowd, who costars with Fox in Friends With Kids, has come to her defense with some mighty stinging words against Bay.

"Who wouldn't have a fallout with him?" O'Dowd tells the Toronto Sun about Bay. "It's one of the sexist things I've ever seen. She called him an a--hole. Well, he is a f--king a--hole. She's not the only one who has said that. Why has she been singled out?"

O'Dowd, who's never worked with Bay, admits, "I don't know the ins and outs of it, but it's all down to having a fallout with Michael Bay."

And in case you're wondering whether O'Dowd might have just killed his chances of snagging a plum role in the just-announced Transformers reboot, he's not worried about burning a bridge with the notoriously demanding director.

"I would never f--king watch his films, never mind go and act in them," O'Dowd says.

Fighting words! Maybe O'Dowd does have future slugging it out against baddies in action movies!
