Was Megan Fox keeping a secret when she talked to us last month?

E! News exclusively reported today that Fox is expecting her first child with hubby Brian Austin Green.

But did she drop any clues that she was already expecting—or at least suspecting that she might be—when we spoke with her March 5 at the Friends With Kids junket in New York City?

"I'd love to have kids," the possibly already-pregnant bombshell told us when we had asked if she related in any way to her character in the film—a working actress who wasn't interested in having a family.

"I mean, it's going to happen when it's going to happen, but it's not something that I've planned against or for," Fox said. "I'm just leaving it out there for the universe."

The Transformers star, who turns 26 on May 16, also said that she isn't afraid of the so-called "expiration date" that actresses have to play certain roles.

"Once you're over 40 it becomes sort of very difficult to work in the industry the same way, so I feel like a lot of actresses feel pressured to work as much as they can while they're still in their 20s and early 30s," she said. "I don't have that fear."

"I just feel like kids are so much more important than any movie about robots or...you know," the feisty brunette added. "They're just so much more important than that. I'm not worried."
