Mel Gibson Says Tapes Were Edited: "Who Could Anticipate Such a Personal Betrayal?"

Mel Gibson is talking. (Quietly, and in a reasonable manner.)
"Who anticipates being recorded? Who anticipates that? Who could anticipate such a personal betrayal?" the actor said in his first sit-down since recordings of him lashing out at baby mama Oksana Grigorieva hit the Internet—and he ultimately pleaded no contest to hitting her.
"Of course" Gibson feels regret about what was on those tapes, he says, according to the interview obtained by Deadline Hollywood. But he also claims that the leaked tapes "were edited" and that he has "never treated anyone badly or in a discriminatory way based on their gender, race, religion or sexuality—period."

Mickey Rourke is blaming it on the journalist.
"When I talked to you, I was at a party. It was loud and crowded, I was in a s---ty mood and I was trying to get rid of your reporter," the Oscar nominee tells New York magazine's Vulture blog, the outlet that first printed some rather unenthusiastic comments he made about his latest film, Passion Play, and costar Megan Fox.

Usher is the latest star to express regret for ever taking money from coffers connected to the Libyan dictator, who has been engaging his supporters in a bloody battle against rebel forces who are trying to expel him from power.
The R&B star joins Nelly Furtado and Beyoncé in the never-again pool of artists who say they unknowingly performed for six-figure fees at private events involving Gadhafi's family and are now passing their paychecks along to good causes.

Contrary to what Raz-B might think, Chris Brown says he's still onboard with being "a better person."
"Yesterday was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public Twitter attacks from Raz B, who was bent on getting attention," Brown told TMZ after cameras caught up with the A-one probationer, referring to yesterday's twit storm in which N-bombs were dropped by both and Brown unleashed a flurry of gay slurs.
"Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter."

The actor's official statement is that he's "sorry" after causing a disturbance on a flight from New York to Lexington, Ky., when he refused to turn of his BlackBerry and ended up being escorted off the plane before it took off from JFK International Airport.
A rep for Duhamel tells E! News that the Life as We Know It heartthrob was texting someone about their flight being delayed.
And if you believe the eyewitnesses, he must have been very perturbed.
