Mary-Louise Parker: It's a Boy!
Out with the old and in with the new.
Suddenly single Mary-Louise Parker has a new man in her life. The actress gave birth to a baby boy at St. Vincent's Hospital on Jan. 7.
The little tyke has been named William Atticus Parker. No other details have been released.
There has been no word if daddy Billy Crudup was around for the delivery. The couple split in November.
The Almost Famous star and the West Wing regular had been together since they met in 1996, while costarring in a stage revival of Bus Stop. They never married.
Parker, who made her mark in 1991's Fried Green Tomatoes, recently starred in HBO's Angels in America. Her role earned her a Best Supporting Actress Golden Globes nomination. The TV movie was also recognized on the American Film Institute's best-of 2003 list.
Parker, who is likely to take some time to raise baby, is set to appear in the Michael Stipe-produced teen drama Saved in February. She'll also star in the limited release The Best Thief in the World, which debuts this month at Sundance.
Crudup, who broke into the Biz with 1996's Sleepers, stars in Tim Burton's critically acclaimed fantasy, Big Fish.
