Marie Osmond Not in a Singing Mood After All

Rushing back to work may not have been the best move for Marie Osmond after all.
The veteran entertainer, who resumed performing with brother Donny a day after burying her 18-year-old son, has canceled the rest of her shows at the Flamingo Las Vegas this week to spend more time with her family.
"She is hanging in there, but she's struggling," Osmond's personal assistant, Darla Sperry, told the Las Vegas Sun. "What can we expect? She is doing the best she can. Please keep her in your prayers."
Osmond's son, Michael Bryan, committed suicide by jumping from his Los Angeles apartment on Feb. 26. His family held a funeral for him March 9 in Utah.
The following night, Marie and Donny returned to the stage for an emotional performance and added six more shows in April to make up for ones they had missed.
But apparently the grieving mom could have used a little more time to rest.
Performances of Donny & Marie that were scheduled for Tuesday through Saturday this week were canceled. Their next show is March 23.
