Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Dakota Fanning Stand Up to Cancer

Zac Efron got stuck in an elevator with a group of young girls. His girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, went bowling. And Dakota Fanning caught a pop fly at a baseball game.

They did all of this to help fight cancer.

These three young Hollywood stars are just a few of the celebs who appear in Stand Up to Cancer's new "Change the Odds" PSA...

Codirected by Marc Webb ((500) Days of Summer and the upcoming Spider-Man movie) and commercial and music video director Rich Lee, the spot shines a light on the alarming odds of someone being diagnosed with cancer. In the U.S., one in two men and one in three women will be stricken with a form of the dreaded disease in their lifetimes.

Some of the other stars featured in the PSA include Attack of the Show's Olivia Munn, Kristen Bell, Zachary Levi, Glee's Naya Rivera and the new Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield.

The PSA coincides with Stand Up to Cancer's upcoming television fundraising event, which will be simulcast live and commercial-free Sept. 10 on our very own E! along with sister networks The Style Network and G4, and ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, HBO, Discovery, MLB Network, VH1, HBO Latino, Showtime and TV One.

SU2C was launched two years ago to raise money for cancer research with the aim of getting therapies to patients more quickly.
