What the Stars Say About Longoria & Parker
Mazel tov to Eva Longoria and Tony Parker! As you probably know by now, the lovebirds got hitched this weekend in Parker's native France.
While many stars showed up for the big to-do, like Longoria's Desperate Housewives costars Felicity Huffman, Nicollette Sheridan and Teri Hatcher, E!'s Ryan Seacrest, Jessica Alba and Mario Lopez, I wanna know what some other stars have to say about Longoria and Parker.
I'm talking astrology.
I emailed my pals Stella Starsky and Quinn Cox, authors of the book Sextrology, and asked them to whip up a quick reading on Longoria, who's a Pisces, and Parker, a Taurus.
While I don't doubt that Longoria and Parker have a strong future together, Starsky and Cox definitely have me worried a little bit. It sounds like—if these astrologers have their stars in order—Parker may not be in it for the long haul.
Taurus men, they warn, "will always go for the next best thing."
"They don't have much regard for commitment," they say. "So long as they feel they are valued more elsewhere, they're gone. So, Eva has a lot of stroking to do."
Taurus men are said to view their lovers as possessions, say the sextrologers. "Taurus guys do use people as a stepping stone and don't really invest emotionally," Starsky and Cox say. "As much love and lust as they inspire, they are hard-pressed to feel such sensations. The Taurus man expects to be idolized."
Well, he did win the NBA championship MVP award.
But it's not like Longoria doesn't come with her own astrological baggage. "Pisces women are the ultimate divas," Starsky and Cox say. "Pisces women want to merge with a threefold man: an artist, a mensch and a primal sexual creature. Only triple-threat dudes work for Pisces women."
Hmmm. He's a basketball star, a rapper and a heartthrob...sounds like a good triple threat to me.
