Getting paid to kiss Nicole Kidman in the new thriller Trespass was definitely a perk of the job for Cam Gigandet.

But it must have been nerve-wracking or at least a tad uncomfortable for the young hunky Twilight actor—especially since he was only wearing a bathing suit for the smooch.

Not really.

"She's such a pro, so there's no weirdness," Gigandet tells me of the pivotal scene when they lock lips. "It's like she's there to do a job and there's no uncomfortable anything."

Really?!

"I didn't feel nervous or intimidated at all," he promises. "She's like, 'Let's do it and let's kick ass.' "

Kidman and Nicolas Cage star the movie as a wealthy couple who are taken hostage with their daughter when their home is invaded by a group of gun-toting druggies (Gigandet, Ben Mendelsohn, Jordana Spiro and Dash Mihok) looking for cash and diamonds stored in a wall safe.

To say that things turn violent is an understatement.

"No animals were hurt in the making of Trespass, but every actor was," jokes director Joel Schumacher.

Kidman walked away "black and blue all over the place," Schumacher remembers. Cage suffered a slight concussion and Mendelsohn "ripped his eye open" when he was hit by flying glass from a shattered lamp

Gigandet's hand was left cut up and bloody from banging a subzero refrigerator "with all his might," Schumacher says. "They all want to do their own stunts. You can't stop these actors from doing it. They want it to be real."

For Gigandet, we imagine getting to kiss Kidman made any pain well worth it.
