Tom Arnold Lets Us See Him Sweat

Tom Arnold is a funny man. But his behavior at last night's Race to Erase MS gala in L.A. left most attendees scratching their heads rather then laughing.

He and Ross the Intern from The Tonight Show were the evening's guest celebrity auctioneers. Not only did Arnold ramble on way too much, he was sweating profusely through his clothing, and his voice was hoarse. The professional auctioneer on hand for the bidding had to cut him off several times in order to get things back on track.

When Lisa Rinna walked up to help auction off a Dancing with the Stars party, he grabbed her and literally pulled her onstage. Not exactly the most polite thing to do for a woman in a slinky little dress.

Arnold wouldn't give up when Nick and Drew Lachey were reluctant to join him for the then Arnold took a jab at Nick's very public split from Jessica Simpson. After Drew mentioned Nick has his own Ferrari, Arnold asked, "Did you get that in the divorce?"

At one point, Arnold asked someone to hold his microphone, saying, "My pants are falling down."

He disappeared for a little bit (at one point cornering the Lacheys for a private conversation toward the back of the stage), but then he came back. During the bidding for tickets for this season's American Idol finale, he promised the winner some one-on-one time with the judges because Ross could make that happen.

When Ross nervously explained he couldn't do such a thing, Arnold cracked, "But who’s going to bring Paula her Vicodin? It’s going to be you."

Arnold also wasn't too nice to Joey Fatone, at one point asking the former 'N Syncer, "Are you jealous of Justin Timberlake?"

At the end of the auction, Arnold was soaked in sweat and left alone on the stage. He wandered off muttering, "Thank you. Thank you."
