This Just In: Kate Bush Is a Golden Girl
Kate Bush is golden.
I just got the news that the British singer-songwriter has recorded “Lyra” for the upcoming movie adaptation of Philip Pullman’s The Golden Compass.
Bush wrote and produced the song, which is named for Lyra Belacqua, the story's lead character.
This isn’t Bush’s first time doing Hollywood. Her songs have been featured in the films Castaway and She’s Having a Baby.
