He's got a hairy chest and a beard.

In the pics, taken in British Columbia and first posted on CraveOnline.com, Cavill seems to be caught in some sort of rainstorm.

He's dripping wet, barefoot and his pants are shredded to bits. Maybe Superman just needed to find a place to change because he's also carrying a pair of boots and some other clothing in his arms.

And his muscles? Whoa!

His chest certainly deserves that big "S." Mr. Cavill's biceps are bulging and he's got a nice tight six-pack of a tummy.

Cavill's Man of Steel workout has included a diet of about 5,000 calories a day! "You gotta keep your hunger levels going," Cavill told Total Film magazine this summer. "I'm training two and half hours a day, pushing my body beyond its normal limits, putting on a lot of muscle mass and just making myself look like Superman."

But don't worry, that look doesn't include a beard. Previously released pics of Cavill in the Superman suit show him clean-shaven.

Maybe it's time Gillette start pitching the studio for a razor tie-in.
