Sex and the City Makes It Work With Tim Gunn

Carrie Bradshaw & Co. are getting an extra dose of fabulous in the upcoming Sex and the City flick.
I just got word that Tim Gunn is going to appear in the sequel.
A rep for Gunn confirms the cameo, which he's shooting in New York City right now!
No word yet on what the Project Runway guru will be doing in the film, but I'm told he's playing himself.
This wouldn't be the first time Gunn has been in business with Sarah Jessica Parker...
SJP appeared as a guest judge on Project Runway back in 2007 when contestants (including Christian Siriano) were given a $15 budget to create an item for her cost-conscious clothing line Bitten.
Now, back to SATC 2. Gunn isn't the only fun cameo we'll be seeing in the flick. Miley Cyrus is said to be playing herself in a scene in which she and Samantha Jones hit the same red carpet in the same dress.
Liza Minnelli reportedly is the surprise performer belting out Beyoncé's "Single Ladies" at a wedding. And Penélope Cruz was spotted just the other day shooting a scene with Parker and Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big.
In other SATC news, spies in NYC tell me they just shot at the über-fabulous Empire Hotel. The scene was a movie premiere party celebrating a flick starring Samantha's on-again, off-again hunkster Smith (Jason Lewis)—who we'll take with or without clothes if that's OK with you, Tim?

Maybe Selena Gomez should be in Sex and the City, too! She announced yesterday that she's launching her own fashion line.
