Rocket Man Goes Sky-High in Hollywood

Elton John may sing, "Goodbye, yellow brick road," but he's saying hello to the Sunset Strip.
The Rocket Man has purchased an almost $2.5 million apartment in West Hollywood's über-chic Sierra Towers high-rise building, several sources tell me.
The 1,831-square-foot two-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath pad is on the building's 20th floor. According to the Multiple Listing Service, the apartment includes "exceptional views from downtown to the ocean and everything in between."

Sierra Towers is one of the most highly coveted spots in Los Angeles. John's neighbors include Lindsay Lohan, Matthew Perry, Cher and celebrity jewelry designer Loree Rodkin.
I'm told that John had owned a place in the building once before, but sold it many years ago.
The rocker and his husband, David Furnish, reportedly also have homes in Windsor and London, England; Atlanta, Georgia; Venice, Italy; and Nice, France.
