Report: Robert Pattinson "Committed" to Breaking Dawn

When Robert Pattinson signed up for Twilight, he wasn't necessarily planning on playing Edward Cullen in four movies.

"I went into it thinking it was a trilogy," he told me shortly before Twilight's release last November, adding, "I'm looking forward to doing a saga."

Turns out, fourth time could be the charm for Pattz...

The actor apparently told the Hollywood Reporter earlier today at the Cannes Film Festival that he is "committed" to playing the lovestruck vampire in the fourth installment of the movie franchise.

However, no shooting schedule has been set by Summit Entertainment because of Pattinson's busy work schedule, according to the trade newspaper.

Whether or not Pattinson has actually signed an official contract for Breaking Dawn is unclear at the moment. His manager did not immediately comment.

After completing New Moon in Italy, Pattinson will shoot Remember Me before returning to Vancouver for Twilight's third flick, Eclipse.

As for Kristen Stewart, she's told me in the past that she can't imagine Breaking Dawn not happening. "We all really hope there is going to be a No. 4," she said back in March.

Like Robbie, Stewart will be busy in between New Moon and Eclipse. She'll be showing off her vocal chops starring as Joan Jet in a biopic about her 1970s' all-girl band, The Runaways.

P.S.: If ya haven't seen the new poster for New Moon, you must take a look right now. I'm told the next poster may not be out until August!
