Pamela Anderson's New Tommy

Move over, Tommy Lee: Pamela Anderson is giving another Tommy some lovin' these days.
Tommy Hilfiger, that is. No, the designer and buxom bombshell are not Hollywood's newest tabloid couple.
Hilfiger's ultrapreppy clothing may not exactly be Anderson's style, but she is singing his company's praises for going fur-free.
"Since Tommy mostly used fur on collars and cuffs, his decision to go fur-free really puts the spotlight on fur trim, which is one of my biggest pet peeves," Anderson tells me exclusively. "People who think 'it's just a little fur trim' need to know that animals suffer tremendously for every piece of fur, and it's unacceptable to wear any of it. Thanks, Tommy, for sticking up for the animals!"
And if there was any good that came out of Anderson's short-lived marriage to Kid Rock, it's Hilfiger's new stance on fur. I'm told that Hilfiger was introduced to PETA honcho Dan Mathews in August at their Saint-Tropez wedding celebration. After months of talking about animal rights, Hilfiger announced yesterday that he would immediately discontinue the use of fur throughout his company.
Hilfiger certainly isn't alone with his new decision. Other American designers who ban fur include Ralph Lauren, Kenneth Cole and Calvin Klein.
