Just Call Her Juno Lynn Spears

Jamie Lynn Spears’ parents may just adore daddy-to-be Casey Aldridge, as some reports allege. But that doesn’t mean they’re happy about the pregnancy.

A source close to the family reports mom Lynne “cried and cried and cried” when she was told her 16-year-old daughter was expecting. Dad Jamie “is livid,” the source just told me. “He blew up in a rage.”

Let me just say, you don’t want to be on the receiving end of this daddy's rage. A few years ago, I got a surprise call from Mr. Spears, who was not happy I was reporting Britney was dating dancer Columbus Short—and felt the need to voice his displeasure. Despite his claims otherwise and colorful vocabulary, Britney was dating Short.

Back to Jamie Lynn’s baby bump. Any talk of a shotgun wedding? Nope, says my source. “They keep looking at what happened to Solange Knowles,” the source says, referring to Beyoncé’s younger sister, who got married at age 17 to college football player Daniel Smith when they found out she was pregnant. “That didn’t work out. They ended up divorced.”

And, says my source, there is speculation among friends and family that the Zoey 101 star is “further along” than the 12 weeks she told OK! magazine.

As for big sis Britney, she went shopping when the news broke yesterday. She hit up the Lisa Kline women's boutique in West Hollywood, spending $1,700 on items for herself, her mom and her little sister.

Juno Doane Gregory / Twentieth Century Fox

On a side note, PageSix.com reports Jamie Lynn and her mom were spotted taking in a showing of Juno the other day in New York City. If you're not familiar with this indie-film hit, it stars Ellen Page as a pregnant high schooler who searches for just the right adoptive parents for her unborn child.

No word if the Spears family gave the flick a thumbs-up.
