It's Your World: What Readers Are Saying About Tori and Candy

Spelling Family Jonathan Alcorn/ZUMAPress.com

On Friday, I told you about Tori Spelling and her mom, Candy, reconciling. The two are coming together after the birth of Liam Aaron, Tori and hubby Dean McDermott's first child.

When I asked what you thought about this mommy-daughter reunion, well, let's just say you had plenty to say on the topic.

The sassy Monette, of Southgate, Michigan, had this piece of homespun Hollywood advice to offer: "A grandmother needs to have contact with her grandchildren, or it becomes awkward when she has to take care of the child when the mommy goes off to rehab. Just ask Britney's mom."

Wow, Monette, who knew they grew them so snarky in Michigan? (Keep it coming!)

Then this reader from Pennsylvania (who asked to remain anonymous) believes Candy is dangerously close from losing out on the "greatest thing going"—that is, being a grandma. "Hollywood people make a mountain out of a molehill," she says. "Try living like the average Joe—then you can complain."

Hmmm...good sense like that doesn't need to be anonymous, but I always try to respect my sources' wishes.

Christopher, of Fullerton, California, has a simple reason for ending the feud: "Make up with mom, Tori. It will make both of you feel better."

"They should stop fighting and make up, posthaste," demands Kathy from Frisco, Texas. "I can't help but wonder what poor Aaron Spelling would say or do if he knew how things had deteriorated between his wife and only daughter since his death. I'm sure he'd be none too pleased."

If all goes as planned, Kathy sees big things in their future—rehab not being one of them.

"There's so much for them to be happy about," she says. "I predict there will be a Spelling family reunion cover on Vanity Fair coming in the next few months."

Hey, Kathy, are you sure you aren't Tori's publicist?
