The producer of the new NBC reality show The Real Wedding Crashers was on hand last night at a private screening for cast and crew at Pearl in West Hollywood.

And it was nice to see that Kutcher didn't just pop into the party for the obligatory photo op. Casual in a tweedy fedora, jeans, a tight-fitting dark sweater and brown Converse sneakers, he stuck around for at least a couple of hours, bouncing around the room to hug and chat with nearly everyone.
Crashers has made television history, Kutcher said, because he feels it's the first true "hybrid" of scripted and reality television.
If the critics don't warm to it, Kutcher said, who cares because "the people will get it."
So, why on earth would a couple agree to ambush and embarrass their friends and families on national television? Because in return, Kutcher & Co. pay for their honeymoon.
